GTAV Trailer 2 Delayed

Just moments ago, a Rockstar rep posted a comment on their release date announcement Newswire article that Trailer 2 has been delayed.
It's stated that they are indeed working on a second trailer, but have been left completely without power in their NYC offices due to Hurricane Sandy. It's understandable that this natural disaster has delayed Rockstar's plans, but it's promised that they have something to show us "soon".

Just to clarify, this comment in no way indicates at what stage Rockstar were at with the second trailer, nor does it confirm it was intended to be released this week. It simply tells that unfortunately, the situation is out of Rockstar's hands this time and that they will launch the trailer as soon as they can.

High-res GTA V artwork released:

Game Informer recently posted digital versions of the GTA V artwork that has begun to appear on promotional displays in retail stores. One of the arts shows the hispanic dude from the debut trailer with a dog called "Chop". Another art shows a female officer arresting a lady sporting a Love Fist t-shirt. For those who can't remember, or who never played GTA: Vice City (what?!), Love Fist is a fictional metal band that featured heavily in the game.

GTAV Spring 2013 Release Date Announced



Rockstar Games today officially announced the Spring 2013 release date for Grand Theft Auto V, which will be available for pre-order starting next week on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.



This means a release date between late March and June of next year. More info and game assets coming in November. Stay tuned!

New Artworks and Release Date Reaffirmed:

UK retailer GAME has confirmed on Twitter what we told you on Saturday - that Grand Theft Auto V is set to arrive in Spring 2013. The tweet, since removed, contained a photo showing promotional box arts with two never-before-seen artworks:

Grand Theft Auto V Coming Spring 2013:

A leaked retail store promotional poster was leaked onto the web today, showcasing the official artwork released earlier in the week, in addition to a never before seen one featuring a different character.



But what is of most importance is that these posters list a release date for the game of Spring 2013 (Northern Hemisphere), meaning a release date some time between late March and June of next year. The only platforms listed are Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
As we understand it, these posters are from a popular brand retail store in England - and will be put up soon.
We have no official word on the legitamacy behind this, but considering a retail store received this, we can only assume that an official announcement is around the corner.
Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two is reporting their financial results next week, and will be giving updated guidance on their financial projections for the rest of the financial year (ending March 31st, 2013).
Previously, they had given sales projections for Rockstar Games that they can only meet with a major Grand Theft Auto release. If they keep that projection, it means they still believe the game is out by March of next year. If they dramtically lower their guidance, this means the game is coming out after March 2013.

GTAIV ARTWORK: PEST CONTROL:

Right on the heels of the one year anniversary to GTAV's announcement, Rockstar Games today shared with us the first official artwork for the game, entitled "Pest Control" - and promising "lots of info" next month, November.

Screenshots:

Rounding out this week's surge of GTAV screenshots are an additional four new screenshots within a set called "Business". Rockstar noted that this will be the last screenshots for a while, and will be providing more "in a few weeks or so".









As promised, Rockstar Games released another set of screenshots today, all featuring leisure activities within Grand Theft Auto V.







Rockstar Games have released a second batch of screenshots today on their Newswire; this time showing us some modes of transport around Los Santos!
Bicycles are confirmed with the first image, and in the others we can see the Cheetah sportscar and the Hydra jet.
If you weren't excited enough by the screenshots, Rockstar added "More to come this week..." at the end of the Newswire update. Has the GTA V marketing campaign officially started?
Update: Rockstar have also updated the official GTA V website to include all the screenshots released so far; but there are three empty spaces. Keep your eyes peeled on Rockstar's Newswire and GTAV.net this week.

The first shows a police helicopter across the Los Santos skyline, and the second some NPCs sitting in a suburban park area.
